Weather forecast for the Camino Primitivo in January

The Camino Primitivo starts in Oviedo and ends in Santiago de Compostela. In January, the weather changes a lot. When you start in Oviedo, you'll see a mix of sun, clouds, and somewhat rain. Temperatures are usually 4 to 12 degrees Celsius, with some heavy rain at times.

The weather is a bit sunnier in places like Grado and Salas, but there can also be heavy showers and rain. Here, it can get a bit colder, with lows of 8 degrees Celsius.

As you move further inland to places like Tineo, Borres and Berducedo, the weather changes more. There is still a lot of sun but also heavy rain, and temperatures are mostly between 6 to 12 degrees. There is also a bit more rain.

Moving west, you'll see more clouds and colder temperatures, from 2 to 9 degrees, in places like A Fonsagrada and O Cadavo. It can even get below freezing with some rain.

Finally, when you reach Ferreira and finish in Santiago de Compostela, the weather is mostly cloudy and it rains a lot. It's also colder, with temperatures from 0 to 10 degrees. The end of the route is the wettest part.

This overview is for an early January start, walking the standard stages.
But, I'll be happy to make one specifically for this forecast.
