November on the Arizona Trail is a month of transition. Southern deserts often stay mild and mostly dry, with many clear days and highs commonly in the upper teens to mid 20s°C. Light showers or brief drizzle do appear at times. Moving north and higher, temperatures drop quickly and nights turn cold, frequently below freezing. Central mountains see occasional moderate rain, and by the Mogollon Rim and Colorado Plateau, recurrent storms bring snow. The high country can receive heavy snowfall with daytime temperatures near or below freezing and severe nighttime cold. Skies vary from sunny breaks to long overcast stretches as systems pass through.

Mexico Border to Canelo Pass starts mostly dry with frequent clear skies and occasional overcast. Highs vary roughly from 18–26°C and lows from 2–13°C. Light showers appear at times near Parker Canyon Lake and Canelo Pass (up to about 6 mm), with an isolated flurry possible over the higher ground at Canelo Pass.

Casa Blanca Canyon through Apache Springs and Oak Tree Canyon brings mixed sun and cloud with brief drizzle. Highs run 13–28°C and lows 2–17°C. Light to moderate showers pop up locally, peaking near Oak Tree Canyon with about 3 mm.

Lakes Road to Gabe Zimmerman Trailhead and Saguaro National Park remains generally warm and often sunny, punctuated by cloudy spells. Highs commonly reach the low to mid 20s°C, with lows from about 1–16°C. Showers are sporadic and light, typically under 3 mm.

Redington Road to Gordon Hirabayashi Campground and Marshall Gulch turns cooler with elevation. Highs range 5–23°C and lows dip to around -5–13°C. A brief moderate shower near Redington Road (~3 mm) gives way to clearer breaks, with occasional drizzle higher up.

American Flag Ranch to Tiger Mine and Freeman Road stays variable but mainly dry between systems. Highs span roughly 13–27°C, lows 4–17°C. A notable rain at American Flag Ranch reaches about 12 mm, Tiger Mine sees a light event (~3 mm), and Freeman Road records a heavier shower near 9 mm.

Kelvin-Riverside Bridge to Picketpost Trailhead features wide swings, including warm, sunny spells near 30°C. Lows run 4–18°C. Passing systems deliver meaningful rain, with local peaks around 9–15 mm.

Rogers Trough to Vineyard Trailhead trends cloudier. Highs vary 13–27°C with lows 2–13°C. Showers strengthen toward Vineyard Trailhead, where a moderate rain reaches about 31 mm.

Pigeon Spring to Sunflower and Mount Peeley marks a shift to winter conditions. Cold nights settle near or below freezing, and mixed rain and snow arrive. Totals jump with events around 22–35 mm of rain and moderate snowfall near Mount Peeley (~18 mm), while highs swing from single digits to low 20s°C depending on elevation and timing.

Red Hills Trail Junction to The East Verde River and Pine Trailhead stays unsettled and cool. Highs range 5–25°C, lows -4–9°C. Light to moderate snow and rain appear at times, including around 8 mm of rain near Red Hills Trail Junction and occasional light snow at Pine.

FR 300 Trailhead to Highway 87 sees frequent snow with several subfreezing days. Highs hover 0–15°C and lows drop to around -6°C. Storms bring heavy snow locally, including events near 9 mm and 15 mm.

Gooseberry Springs to Mayflower Spring turns very wintry with intense snowfall. Highs range from -1–15°C, while lows plunge to about -14°C. Heavy snow can be extreme, with one event near 51 mm and another around 15 mm.

Marshall Lake to Cosnino Road Exit and Schultz Pass retains a cold, stormy pattern. Highs run 0–14°C and lows fall as low as -16°C. Mixed rain and snow occur, including heavy snow near 11 mm and pockets of rain around 11 mm.

Cedar Ranch to Moqui Stage Station and Grandview Lookout Tower continues with periodic snow and sharp nighttime cold. Highs vary from -5–14°C, lows reach about -19°C. Several systems deliver additional snowfall, with totals around 6–7 mm and another near 6 mm.

South Kaibab to North Kaibab features significant high-elevation snow. Highs sit between -4–11°C and lows commonly fall below -10°C. Heavy events around 21 mm and 12 mm bring deep snow and persistently wintry conditions.

Kaibab National Forest to Telephone Hill and Orderville remains frigid and storm-prone. Highs range from -9–11°C, lows plunge to about -27°C. Snow episodes include a heavy 25 mm fall, plus additional moderate to heavy events around 4–6 mm.

Winter Road to Stateline Trailhead finishes cold with recurrent snow. Highs hover 0–12°C and lows around -9–1°C. Storm pulses bring fresh accumulations, including roughly 7 mm and 5 mm near Winter Road, and a lighter snowy finish at Stateline Trailhead (~3 mm).
