From the border through the rolling foothills, most days are clear to mainly clear with occasional overcast spells and virtually no rain. Highs run 24–34°C, with a few cooler days 14–23°C, and nights 1–19°C. Skies brighten northward, where warmth peaks and conditions stay dry.

Approaching the desert valleys, brief showers pop up, with isolated 1–2 mm and local bursts near 5 mm. Between showers, sunshine is common and temperatures spike, with highs often 23–36°C and nights 9–21°C. Cloud cover flips between overcast bursts and clear skies.

Climbing into the mountains, a disturbance brings several showery days, including a wet burst around 18 mm at high elevation. Highs swing 12–30°C, with cool nights 1–15°C. Clear breaks follow the rain but clouds linger at times.

Across the uplands, sun dominates with only spotty drizzle until a sharper storm drops about 17 mm on one day. Highs reach 26–35°C, with warm nights 12–21°C. Cloud cover varies from clear to overcast around the change.

Farther north, heat surges in the low country to around 39°C before scattered showers return. Rainfall ranges from a few tenths to about 12 mm near river corridors, with additional 1–5 mm in nearby foothills. Highs vary 17–39°C, and nights 6–25°C. Skies alternate between overcast pulses and bright sun.

Into the transition zone, days are warm with intermittent light to moderate drizzle totaling 1–6 mm. Highs generally sit 22–34°C, with cooler pockets, and nights 6–22°C. Sunshine returns quickly between showers.

A notably wetter stretch follows, with widespread showers and periods of steady rain delivering about 2–21 mm. Cloudier skies keep highs 17–33°C, and nights 1–17°C. Clear windows still appear between bands of rain.

Conditions dry out again along canyons and the rim, though a quick cold snap brings about 3 mm of precipitation and much cooler daytime readings. Highs range 18–36°C across this leg, with nights 7–18°C. Skies shift from clear to overcast and back.

Scattered light showers continue with totals near 1–4 mm, mixed with long sunny spells. Highs hover 17–26°C, and nights 3–13°C. Overcast mornings often yield to clearer afternoons.

Over the plateau forests, a few showers develop, including local bursts around 3–5 mm. Highs vary 17–29°C with cool nights 5–13°C. Skies toggle between overcast and clear.

Mostly dry weather returns, interrupted by brief drizzles up to about 4 mm. Afternoons warm to 23–32°C, and nights sit 7–19°C. Sunshine dominates despite occasional overcast.

Approaching the canyon, isolated showers of 1–4 mm dot the route amid frequent sun. Highs span 16–33°C with cool nights 3–16°C. Cloud cover alternates between overcast and clear.

Across the far north, most days are dry with a few light pulses of 0–4 mm, and one day drops to about -1°C at dawn. Highs climb 6–37°C depending on elevation, and nights 0–22°C. Skies range from clear to overcast but lean sunny at the end.
