In Vidouze and Morlaàs, expect regular shifts between sunny intervals and patchy rain. Temperatures remain moderate, generally under 30°C, but rain showers can occur frequently and suddenly. As you progress towards the Pyrenees in Oloron-Sainte-Marie, conditions become more dynamic with moderate to heavy rain showers appearing regularly.
Ascending higher into the mountains, places like Sarrance and Borce frequently experience heavy rain, sometimes gathering upwards of 23.9 mm, accompanied by cooler temperatures particularly at night, where temperatures can drop to single digits. Finally, in Somport, the temperatures can plummet even further, and heavy rains alternate with brief sunny spells, creating a dynamic and unpredictable weather pattern along this section of the trail.
