The Voie d'Arles starts in Arles, a town in southern France. The weather in December there is usually a mix of sun, clouds, and rain, with temperatures between 6-11°C. As you walk further, you'll find similar weather and temperatures from 4-13°C.
You'll then visit small towns like Vendargues and Lunas, where there's a higher chance of rain. In the mountain area of Murat-sur-Vèbre, it gets colder, and it could snow. The temperatures can go between -1°C and 6°C, and this cold weather continues to the town of La Salvetat-sur-Agout.
The next part of your walk can be a bit warmer, with temperatures from 2-12°C. But, places like Castres and Dourgne can have more rain.
When you get to the Haute-Garonne region and towards the city of Toulouse, it also tends to rain a lot, with temperatures from 4-12°C.
As you walk through Gers, you might see more sun than rain, and the temperatures stay quite similar. The last part of your walk through the French Pyrénées. is colder and sunny, with occasional rain and snow and temperatures around -1-5°C.
So, on this walk, you’ll encounter different types of weather from sunny to rainy, and temperatures usually stay mild but can get colder in the mountains. Even though you can do this walk in any weather, you should get ready for cold and freezing temperatures, especially towards the French Pyrénées. The weather changes a lot because the Voie d'Arles goes through many different places.
