Umbria

From the northern start through the Umbrian mountains, skies are often overcast with frequent showers and several moderate to heavy rain days. Around Norcia and Cascia, highs usually range 13–18°C with lows 2–11°C, and daily rain sometimes reaches 20–28 mm between drier intervals and brief clear spells. Approaching Monteleone di Spoleto, it turns a little cooler with highs 12–17°C and lows 5–9°C, and isolated downpours can push daily totals near 39 mm.

Lazio

Crossing into Lazio near Leonessa and descending toward Poggio Bustone and Rieti, conditions remain changeable under cloud and passing bands of rain. Leonessa is the chilliest stretch, with lows down to -2°C and highs 10–16°C, and rain bursts of roughly 19–26 mm punctuate lighter showers. Around Rieti, occasional brighter spells alternate with further showers and moderate rain.

Continuing through Rocca Sinibalda and Castel di Tora, the pattern stays variable with drizzle, light rain, and a few moderate episodes. Highs span 11–21°C with cooler nights 3–8°C, and single-day totals often reach the mid-teens, with peaks close to 23 mm before clearer periods return.

Through Orvinio, Mandela, and Subiaco, nights can be quite cool, locally down to -1°C at higher inland sites, while afternoons reach 11–21°C. Showers are intermittent, but some systems deliver moderate to heavy rain, with daily amounts around 25–35 mm at times. Between fronts, partly sunny intervals develop.

From Trevi nel Lazio through Collepardo and Casamari to Arpino, Roccasecca, and Montecassino, overcast skies and recurring drizzle or rain remain common. Highs generally hold near 11–19°C with nights 0–12°C. Several wetter days bring 10–27 mm, and an isolated downpour near Montecassino can approach 42 mm before conditions briefly brighten again.
