Umbria

Beginning around Norcia, afternoons are hot at 30–36°C with warm nights of 16–20°C under clear to partly cloudy skies. Around Cascia, dry stretches are common, but isolated storms can break the heat, bringing 1–7 mm in a day. Near Monteleone di Spoleto, temperatures ease slightly to about 26–31°C with nights near 15–19°C, and occasional downpours can deliver up to 7–8 mm.

Lazio

In the Leonessa area, mountain influence brings wider swings, with highs from 20–35°C and cool nights of 13–18°C; showers and storms are possible, and the heaviest bursts can reach around 26 mm in a day. Descending toward Poggio Bustone, sunnier spells dominate and heat builds to 33–37°C, though brief thunderstorms can drop about 8–13 mm. Approaching Rieti, hot, bright days are common with highs near 34–36°C and nights 16–21°C, but occasional downpours of roughly 10–14 mm can interrupt otherwise dry stretches.

Through Rocca Sinibalda and the Turano valley around Castel di Tora, weather is mostly clear or partly cloudy, with highs 29–35°C and nights 14–20°C; isolated showers are usually light, though a single day can bring about 8 mm. Crossing the hills to Orvinio, clouds vary and scattered showers or short thunderstorms may deliver 4–8 mm amid warm afternoons of 28–33°C. From Subiaco toward Trevi nel Lazio and Collepardo, the Apennine slopes are often sunny with hot peaks of 28–34°C and sporadic showers of 1–4 mm, with locally heavier cells near Collepardo around 13 mm. Across the lower country by Casamari and Arpino, many days stay dry and bright while highs reach 31–37°C with nights 17–22°C, though a passing shower may drop around 5 mm. Approaching Roccasecca and the final stretch to Montecassino, heat eases slightly to 29–34°C with mainly dry conditions and occasional storms that can total 10–13 mm, tapering to light showers near Montecassino.
