As the journey begins in Ribadeo, the weather is characterized by a blend of sunny and cloudy conditions with periodic rain showers. Temperatures range from 6°C to 25°C, with rainfall reaching up to moderate levels on certain days. Progressing to San Cosme de Barreiros, a similar pattern ensues with more frequent moderate rain showers and highs around 18°C.
In Fazouro, trekkers can expect a series of partly cloudy conditions with occasional heavy rain at times. The temperatures settle between 3°C and 20°C. In San Ciprian, a mix of overcast and sunny days is interrupted by moderate rain showers, with temperatures fluctuating from 3°C to 22°C.
Viveiro offers a balance of partly cloudy and overcast days with occasional patchy rain. Highs can reach up to 23°C, while precipitation remains moderate. O Vicedo witnesses heavier showers alongside sunny spells, with temperatures varying from 6°C to 27°C.
As trekkers move to Porto de Espasante, the weather includes sunny days interspersed with rain showers and highs peaking at 26°C. By the time they reach Cariño, the climate consists of clear days broken by heavy rain showers, with temperatures maintaining a range of 7°C to 27°C.
San Andrés de Teixido and Cedeira continue the trend of moderate to heavy rain showers alternating with sunny periods. Highs reach about 23°C with significant precipitation on some days. Valdoviño and Covas maintain a similar weather pattern with the occasional moderate or heavy rain shower amidst periods of sunshine.
Finally, in Ferrol, heavy rain at times punctuates spells of sun and patchy rain with highs reaching 22°C, marking the end of a diverse climatic experience along Camino del Mar.
