Weather forecast for the Camino del Norte in January

The start of the Camino del Norte in Irún, Spain, has mild winter weather with temperatures between 8°C to 12°C, and varies from sunny to rainy. On the way to San Sebastián and Zarautz, there is more sunshine and some rain, with temperatures around 11°C.

Moving west to Deba, Markina-Xemein, and Gernika, temperatures stay around 5°C to 11°C. The weather here can be sunny, cloudy, or rainy, typical of coastal areas in winter.

Inland towns like Lezama, Bilbao, and Portugalete have slightly cooler temperatures around 7°C to 10°C, with weather that can be cloudy, rainy, or sunny.
