Your trip along the Camino del Norte in Spain during March might encounter different types of weather. In the Basque Country, cities like Irún, San Sebastián, Zarautz will have temperatures from 6°C to 20°C. It could rain lightly or heavily sometimes.
Then, when you reach coastal towns like Gernika, Lezama, Bilbao, the weather will be a bit warmer - around 14°C on average. You'll see more sunny days, but also some rain.
The mixed weather continues in Cantabria, with stops in places like Laredo, Güemes, Santander. Temperatures will be between 7°C and 13°C.
In the Asturias region with towns like Colombres, Llanes, Ribadesella, rain is common and average temperatures can be from 7°C to 14°C.
