Weather forecast for the Camino del Norte in December

In Basque Country in December, expect changing weather with both rain and sun. The temperature is usually from 10 to 15°C and it can often rain a lot.

When you reach Cantabria and Asturias, the temperature won't change much, but it might start raining more often. The weather can go from sunny to cloudy or rainy very quickly.

As you get to Galicia, it will get a bit colder. Average highs might decrease, and in Santiago de Compostela, it could go down to 3°C. There will still be a lot of rain, but also some days with sun and clouds.

If you plan to walk the Camino del Norte in December, be prepared for temperatures from single to low double digits and regular rain. The weather is more unpredictable than in warmer months, but there'll be sunny days too.
