Weather on the Camino del Norte in February changes a lot. From the start in Irún, through different regions, to Galicia, weather conditions differ.
Starting in the Basque Country and moving through Cantabria and Asturias, expect warm temperatures. The average temperature is 11 to 13°C during the day and 5 to 7°C at night. It often rains, sometimes heavily. Many days are cloudy with some rain, but sunny days are common too on this part of the route.
As you go towards Galicia, the weather changes a bit. The average temperature stays warm, around 6 and 14°C. It rains often, sometimes heavily, but there are also many sunny and partly cloudy days.
In short, this Camino has fairly warm winter temperatures, a combination of sun and clouds, and regular, sometimes heavy, rains, making the climate varied.
