The Camino del Norte starts in the small town of Irún in the Basque Country and ends in Santiago de Compostela. During May, it's usually between 10°C and 14°C and it often rains.
When you go further into Cantabria and Asturias, the temperature could go up to 16-18°C. It still rains often, but there are also sunny days.
Near the end of the route in Galicia, the weather is a bit warmer, with temperatures from 18-24°C and it can drop to 10-13°C. It still rains but you also get more sunny days.
In general, the Camino del Norte has cooler summer temperatures compared to the Camino Francés and it rains a lot, especially in Galicia.
