Weather forecast for the Dingle Way in June

June on the Dingle Way is changeable but generally kind. Expect a regular mix of cloud and sunny breaks, with frequent light showers and the odd heavier spell from Atlantic fronts. Coastal areas and high ground feel breezier, while lower sections are calmer. Days are cool to mild and sometimes warm, and nights stay fresh. Long daylight often opens decent dry windows between passing showers.

Starting out from the Tralee side and over the Slieve Mish towards Camp, cloud often dominates with bright intervals and passing drizzle. Showers move through quickly, with occasional longer spells of light rain on higher ground. Afternoons typically sit in the mid‑teens to low‑20s Celsius, feeling cooler in wind on exposed slopes.

From Camp through Annascaul and into Dingle, showers remain frequent, and a steadier band of rain can pass through at times. Between pulses, skies open for clearer periods with decent sunshine. Breezes funnel through valleys and along the bay, but lulls are common in sheltered sections.

Around Slea Head and Dunquin the Atlantic influence is stronger, so expect gustier conditions and fast‑moving showers, sometimes turning briefly heavy. When it clears, visibility is good with bright, crisp light. Temperatures feel similar, though the wind on headlands can make it feel cooler.

Rounding the north side via Feothanach and Cloghane, weather is at its most changeable: drizzle and light rain on and off, with the chance of one or two soaking downpours. Along the Maharees and Castlegregory, longer dry spells do appear, though low cloud can linger over the sea. Returning towards Tralee, conditions often settle back to a familiar mix of bright intervals and passing showers rather than all‑day rain.
