Starting out from Tralee toward Camp, skies are often overcast with passing drizzle or light rain. Dry windows appear between bands of showers, and a heavier burst can sweep through at times. Temperatures sit mostly in the mid‑teens to around 20°C, with the occasional warmer spell.
Crossing toward Annascaul and on to Dingle, showers tend to be more frequent, with some moderate to heavier pulses as fronts roll through. Even so, there are clear breaks where it turns mostly dry for a time before cloud thickens again.
Around the western tip near Dunquin, light drizzle and on‑off light rain are common, but you can also get longer settled spells that feel calm and mild. Now and then it turns notably warm for a day, before slipping back to the typical cool, cloudy pattern.
Along the north side past Feothanach and into Cloghane, the theme remains showery with plenty of cloud. Drizzle can linger, though brief brighter intervals still appear between passing bands.
Skirting Brandon Bay to Castlegregory and looping back toward Tralee, showers continue to come and go, with the odd heavier episode mixed in. Some stretches bring brighter skies and a mostly dry feel, but the route finishes much as it began: largely cloudy with intermittent light rain or drizzle.
