From Kincardine toward Limekilns, skies are mostly overcast with regular drizzle or light rain, and brief pauses between showers. Bands of steadier rain sometimes pass through on brisk westerlies. Daytime temperatures generally sit in the low to mid-teens Celsius, turning cooler after dusk.

Continuing along the south Fife coast toward Burntisland, the pattern stays mixed: long cloudy stretches, scattered light showers, and the odd heavier burst as fronts cross the Firth of Forth. Short brighter intervals open up at times, but they tend to close in again with low cloud off the water.

East past Buckhaven to Elie, showers remain frequent, alternating with dry windows that can last a few hours. Onshore flow keeps the air damp, and low cloud can cling to headlands while heavier pulses bring a soaking before easing back to drizzle.

North past Kingsbarns and through Leuchars, it often feels breezy with persistent cloud and patchy drizzle. Light rain is common, and an occasional spell of heavy rain can roll through before breaking up into showers.

Turning along the Tay past Wormit Bay to Newburgh, conditions remain mostly cloudy with intermittent drizzle, though some stretches are largely dry. Showers still crop up, and a few periods bring more substantial rain when a front stalls along the estuary. Nights trend cooler inland, while afternoons stay on the mild side.
