Weather forecast for the Camino de Santiago Francés in November

November on the Camino de Santiago Francés is changeable and often damp. Cloud outnumbers sun, and light rain or drizzle is frequent, with occasional heavier bands moving through. Navarre

Crossing the Pyrenees into Navarre, November is unsettled: low cloud and frequent rain, with occasional sleet or wet snow on the high ground. Through the foothills and into the valleys, overcast skies dominate and showers come and go, though clearer breaks appear from time to time. Temperatures are generally cool.

La Rioja

Across La Rioja, cloud often lingers and light rain or drizzle drifts through in pulses. Dry windows last a day or so and some afternoons brighten, but the overall feel remains muted and damp. Temperatures are mostly cool.

Castile and León

From Belorado toward Burgos, expect grey skies with intermittent drizzle and, at times, brief flurries on the higher stretches. Crossing the open country through Hornillos, Castrojeriz, Frómista and Carrión, overcast conditions are common with occasional light rain and raw mornings. Near León, weak fronts pass with patches of drizzle or light rain, separated by quieter, dry intervals. Climbing past Astorga to the high ground around Foncebadón and descending into the Bierzo, the weather turns more changeable, mixing showers with sleet or occasional snow; temperatures are cool to cold.

Galicia

At O Cebreiro, the pattern flips quickly, with low cloud, showers, and at times sleet or snow. On the descent toward Triacastela and Sarria, Atlantic air brings frequent drizzle and showers, and heavier bursts can sweep through. Around Portomarín, Palas de Rei and Arzúa, days swing between overcast and showery with brief sunny windows. Approaching Santiago, the showery rhythm continues under mostly cloudy skies; temperatures are generally cool.
