Weather forecast for the Camino de Santiago Francés in May

The Camino Francés starts in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and ends in Santiago de Compostela. It has different weather patterns. When you start the journey, it'll be cold, between 16°C and 10°C, and probably rainy. Sometimes, you'll have sunny or cloudy weather.

Next stops, Roncesvalles and Zubiri, are also cold and rainy. Moving to Pamplona and Puente la Reina, it can get slightly hotter, up to 18°C, and rain might decrease a bit.

Traveling from Estella to Logroño, the temperature increases to 21°C to 22°C. The weather changes often between sun, clouds, and light rain. When you get to Nájera and Santo Domingo de la Calzada, temperatures drop to around 20°C with rainy and sunny periods.

Belorado to Burgos is a little colder and rainy at times, but also sunny. Hornillos del Camino and Castrojeriz are the same, at around 16°C.

From Frómista to Terradillos de los Templarios, expect a temperature of around 20°C. Days are sunny, but it can rain too.

The part from Bercianos del Real Camino to León is also around 20°C. Rain is expected but not as much. When you go to San Martín del Camino, Astorga, and Foncebadón, it's sunny, partly cloudy, and rainy sometimes.

In Ponferrada and Villafranca del Bierzo, it's 20°C to 21°C and it can rain a lot sometimes. Same weather patterns when you visit O Cebreiro and Triacastela, but it might be hotter.

The journey from Sarria to Palas de Rei can get to 22°C. It's mostly cloudy, partly cloudy, and sunny. The last stretch to Arzúa, O Pedrouzo, and Santiago de Compostela is between 20°C and 22°C. The weather's mostly sunny with some clouds and occasional rain.
