The walk from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela on the Camino Francés route is generally easy but can be rainy. You will often find the weather to be cloudy with frequent rain, sometimes heavy.
The temperature during the day is usually nice, with temperatures usually between 21°C to 24°C. Night-time is colder with temperatures often around 12-13°C, except in O Pedrouzo where it stays warmer at 16°C.
Rain happens more often in some places than others, usually about 1-2 mm/day. But in Palas de Rei, there's a lot less rain.
Generally, though you might often see rain, there can be unpredictable shifts between sunny, cloudy, and partly cloudy weather.
Starting two weeks before your Camino begins, we’ll email you an updated weather forecast for each day of your journey, based on the newest data. Stay prepared for whatever the trail may bring!
