Near the end of the journey, towards Saint-Julien-Chapteuil and Le Puy-en-Velay, temperatures fall further, especially in lower areas, with highs around 9°C and lows of 1-2°C. Overcast skies are more common, and you may encounter moderate rain or light snow.
Overall, expect a mix of rain, partly cloudy skies, and some sunny days, with temperatures getting cooler as you progress into higher elevations.
