From Killarney into the Black Valley and on toward Glencar, expect a lot of cloud and frequent drizzle or light rain. Showers linger around the hills and can at times build into steadier rain, but there are short dry gaps. Days sit mostly in the low to mid‑teens Celsius, with cooler nights.

Around Glenbeigh and on toward Cahersiveen, the pattern stays mixed. Overcast stretches are common, with on‑and‑off light rain or drizzle, and the odd heavier pulse moving through. There are also spells that stay largely dry though grey before showers return.

Turning south by Waterville and Caherdaniel, showers continue to come and go, ranging from misty drizzle to occasional heavy rain. Between bands it can brighten for a time and feel milder. The general feel is changeable rather than settled.

From Sneem through Kenmare and back toward Killarney, the variability persists: periods of rain interspersed with brighter breaks. Some sections can feel notably warmer on clearer days, but cloud and showers are never far away. You finish with a similar mix to the start—plenty of cloud, scattered light rain, and occasional longer dry spells.
