In Norrbotten, the temperature is between 0°C and 9°C. The sky is often cloudy, and there is light to moderate rain almost every day, with amounts between 1.5 mm and 6.9 mm. Sometimes, it even snows or there is freezing rain in early June.
In Västerbotten, it gets a bit warmer with temperatures between 4°C and 14°C. It rains about 4 mm each day, with some heavy rain showers now and then. The weather is milder, with some days of patchy rain and partly cloudy skies.
The weather gets gradually warmer as you go south on the trail. Expect different types of rain — light, moderate, or heavy — but temperatures will slowly rise.
