In April, starting in Le Puy-en-Velay, the weather can be a mix of light rain, cloudy and sunny. As you head south to Saint-Privat-d'Allier and Saugues, it's mainly cloudy with some rain.
Going on to Domaine du Sauvage and Aumont-Aubrac, expect more clouds and some rain. The temperature doesn't change much. In Nasbinals and Saint-Côme-d'Olt, you might find more rain showers but also some sunny days.
Midway in Estaing and Espeyrac, there may still be some rain with sunny days too. Temperatures rise, and it starts to feel warmer. Moving to Conques, Livinhac-le-Haut, and Figeac, there's still a chance of rain, but sunny days are more common.
Heading to Cajarc and Varaire, the temperature increases more and sunny days are often. Going through Cahors and Lascabanes, it continues to get hotter with fewer rainy days.
In southwest France, through towns like Lauzerte, Moissac, and Auvillar, expect more hot, sunny days. However, there may be some heavy rain.
Towards the end of the trip, from Lectoure through Condom, Eauze, and Nogaro, there's moderate to heavy rain, with some sunny or cloudy breaks. In Aire-sur-l'Adour and Arzacq-Arraziguet, it gets hotter but rain continues.
Finally, in Arthez-de-Béarn, Navarrenx, and Ostabat, expect more rain mixed with a bit of sun. The temperatures start to drop. When you reach Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, you'll find more rainy and colder days, with fewer sunny ones.
