If you are planning to travel the Camino Lebaniego route, you should be ready for different types of weather. In the spring, it usually gets as warm as 15-19°C and as cool as 7-11°C. It often rains, regardless of the warming weather when you get further into your journey.
In the starting area at San Vicente de la Barquera, expect some rain, heavy rain showers at times, along with some sunny and cloudy days. This is the same case for northern places like Cades and Cicera, where rain might occur during sunny times, along with typical heavy rain showers and cloudy skies.
In the middle section of the route, like Potes and Espinama, you may get some sunny weather, but it could still rain at times. Heavy rain could also occur.
In the southernmost part of the route, like Portilla de la Reina, Riaño, and Cistierna, it's usually a bit warmer and sunnier, but rain can still happen, including heavy rain showers.
Towards the end of your journey in Gradefes and Mansilla de las Mulas, you may experience more sunny weather, but it might still rain at times. It might also become cloudy and bring moderate rain showers. Rainfall is usually low, between 1.1mm to 4.0mm, but in some areas, it could be higher.
Overall, during the spring Camino Lebaniego, expect a combination of sun, clouds, and rain, with a higher chance of rain throughout your journey.
