The walking route from Bari to Matera in Italy usually has sunny weather with some rain in June. It's usually around 24-28°C in the day and around 17°C at night, though in Altamura it can be close to 16°C.
Places such as Bari, Bitetto, Santeramo In Colle, and Gravina in Puglia mostly have sunny days. But there are also rainy times, particularly in Cassano Delle Murge, Altamura, and Matera. You can generally expect some rain at any point on the route, more so in the later stages.
Rainfall can change from just a little bit in Bitetto to quite a lot in Altamura. Everywhere else is somewhere in between.
Overall, be ready for lots of sun and some rain. It's usually hot during the day and cooler at night.
