If you walk the Cammino Materano in September, you'll see lots of sun. The Bari area and Bitetto get plenty of sunshine but can also have some rain. It can be 22°C in the evenings, and around 29°C in the day.
In Cassano Delle Murge and Santeramo In Colle, it's usually sunny with some rain. It's a bit cooler here, usually 20-21°C at night and 28°C during the day. These places can get more rain.
In Altamura and Gravina In Puglia, the weather's mostly sunny with some rain. In the evenings, it can be around 18°C, and 27-29°C during the day.
When you get to Picciano, there's lots of sunshine and sometimes rain. It's about 26°C during the day and drops to 19°C at night.
Finally, in Matera, you can expect a mix of sun, clouds, and some rain. It's typically 28°C during the day and 19°C at night, with less chance of rainfall.
