Starting in Almería, which has a Mediterranean climate, you can expect mild temperatures around 20°C and some light rain in April. This will be the same as you continue on to Alboloduy and Abla, although the rain may increase.
In the mountain areas of Huéneja, Alquife, and Guadix, it will get colder, around 10°C, and the weather can vary from sunny to rainy, sometimes even freezing rain or snow.
Once you reach lower altitudes in La Peza, Quéntar, Granada, and Pinos Puente, temperatures will increase up to 19°C. You may still experience some light rain showers.
The weather will continue to change as you travel through Moclín and Alcalá la Real, with sunny periods, cloudy spells, and occasional heavy rain. Temperatures will stay around 18-19°C.
The next places, which include Alcaudete, Baena, Castro del Río, and Santa Cruz, will be warmer, with temperatures rising to low twenties. But, expect significant rain along with sun and clouds.
In Córdoba, Cerro Muriano, and Villaharta, the weather will remain mixed with a slight increase in temperature and rainfall.
The weather will cool down a bit as you move into Alcaracejos and Hinojosa del Duque, but there might be more rain showers.
As you approach Monterrubio de la Serena, Castuera, Campanario, and Don Benito, expect the temperatures in low twenties and inconsistent weather from sunny to rainy days.
Lastly, towards the end of the journey in Torrefresneda and Mérida, temperatures stay in the low twenties. Expect more cloudy days, but the weather continues to change between sunny and rainy days.
