The Camino Mozárabe route in Málaga, Spain, often has sunny days that match the region's well-known sunny weather. In March, the temperatures usually range from 17-20°C in the day, dropping to around 10°C in the beginning and 5°C further in.
Almogía and Villanueva de la Concepción, more inland areas, have more varied weather - there can be sun, light rain, or heavy rain showers. The temperature drops too, with highs around 14°C and lows around 6°C. While the total rainfall is not large, rain may occur more frequently.
The weather changes again in Antequera and moves to Villanueva de Algaidas and Encinas Reales. Here, sunny days are less common, with more cloudy and overcast days. Temperatures are cooler, with highs of 13-14°C and lows of 5-6°C.
In Lucena, it's often partly cloudy and may rain moderately now and then. Heading north to Doña Mencía, Baena and Castro del Río, the weather gets sunnier again, with temperatures reaching up to 20°C.
In Santa Cruz and Córdoba, the weather is generally sunny or partly cloudy. When moving to Cerro Muriano and Villaharta, be prepared for possible heavy rain showers in between sunny days.
Towards the end of the route, in areas like Alcaracejos and Mérida, you'll find a balance of sun, clouds, and rain with temperatures ranging from 16-18°C and dropping to 5-7°C at night. Rainfall remains low but patchy and heavy rain can happen.
So if you're on the Camino Mozárabe route in March, expect a mix of sunny and rainy weathers.
