If you're planning to go on the Camino Olvidado, you will travel through the northern parts of Spain including Basque Country, Cantabria, and Castile and León. The weather can change a lot, but most days will be sunny. However, it can sometimes rain a lot.
The journey starts in the Basque Country and Cantabria. The daytime temperatures usually are in the lower 20s, and at night it can go down to the middle teens. Although it's mostly sunny, sometimes it also rains, and the sky may often be cloudy.
Your journey continues into Castile and León. Here, it's a bit warmer during the day, with temperatures in the lower to middle 20s, and it cools down to around 10 to 14 degrees at night. It's generally sunnier here, and it doesn't rain as much as where the journey begins. But still, there can be unexpected showers.
Towards the end of your trip, in places like Fasgar, Igüeña, and Cacabelos, the temperature goes up to the middle 20s. The weather is usually sunny, and the chance of light rain decreases. However, it can sometimes rain hard.
In short, while you'll have a lot of sunny days on your trip, be ready for rain.
