Navarra

The opening stretch through the foothills is often overcast, with frequent light drizzle and periods of steadier rain. Cold mornings bring frost, and during sharper cold pushes the higher spots can see wet snow or even a thin covering at lower levels. Short clearer windows appear between fronts, but the overall feel stays damp and chilly, with days rarely feeling warm and nights near or below freezing.

Álava

Across Álava the pattern stays unsettled. Brighter breaks alternate with wet spells, including occasional sleet or freezing rain in the colder snaps and some snowfall around passes. Temperatures remain on the cool side with brief milder interludes before cloud and showers return; nights often hover around freezing.

Castile and León

Entering the Ebro corridor and the Burgos valleys, skies are frequently leaden and drizzle is common, punctuated by heavier bursts of rain. Several wintry outbreaks push through, bringing snow to surrounding hills and at times down into the valley floors. Between systems a calmer, brighter day can appear, but cold soon returns; days are generally chilly and nights regularly freeze. Short milder phases do occur before the next front.

Cantabria

Turning toward Cantabria and the adjoining high plains, the wintry mix persists. Grey, damp stretches with light drizzle are interspersed with snow showers or full snowy spells when colder air arrives. Occasional sunny breaks offer a pause, but overall it stays cold, with nights often at or below freezing and daytime warmth limited.
