Navarra

Starting out from Pamplona, skies are often overcast with light drizzle or rain before bright gaps open between fronts. Around Irurtzun the pattern stays showery, with quick shifts from grey to sunny breaks through the day. Closer to Altsasu, the higher ground keeps it cooler and damp at times, and a late cold snap can still bring sleety or even wintry precipitation on nearby hills; overall it feels cool to mild.

Álava

Crossing the Llanada Alavesa toward Salvatierra, April alternates between steady rain under thick cloud and clearer, drier intervals. Approaching Vitoria, showers can reform, but they also clear quickly to longer sunny spells on some days. Temperatures remain cool to mild, with notably cold starts possible.

Castile and León

From La Puebla de Arganzón into Miranda de Ebro, expect rapid swings between sunshine and bands of rain, with the odd heavier burst as a front passes. Entering the Ebro canyon around Baños de Sobrón and Quintana Martín Galíndez, the gorges can feel milder in sun but hold damp after showers, and a brief wintry episode is still possible on higher lanes. Through Trespaderne and the Valdivielso area toward Pesquera de Ebro and Orbaneja del Castillo, the pattern stays changeable: many days are partly cloudy or dry, while others bring light to moderate rain for several hours. Overall it trends mild, occasionally warm in sunshine, with cool nights.

Cantabria

Crossing into Cantabria around Polientes and Villanueva de la Nía, spring stays unsettled: low cloud and drizzle are common, with breaks lifting to bright, calm windows. Short-lived cold snaps can still bring wintry showers on surrounding heights, but warm, sunny spells also appear between passing systems. By Aguilar de Campoo, most days sit in the cool-to-mild band, and the wetter periods usually arrive in pulses rather than lasting all day.
