Navarra

From Pamplona toward Irurtzun, the days open mild with patches of cloud, then brighten into long sunny spells; brief drizzle or light rain can pass through without lasting. Closer to Altsasu, the sky flips between overcast and clear, and a short burst of heavier rain is possible, but many hours stay dry and bright. Afternoons usually sit in the mid-20s to low-30s °C.

Álava

Crossing into Salvatierra, expect plenty of sun with occasional passing showers or a quick thunderstorm that cools the air for a while. Dropping toward Vitoria, the pattern repeats: long dry stretches, then a short spell of rain, then clearing skies. Typical afternoon temperatures reach the mid-20s to low-30s °C.

Castile and León

As you leave La Puebla de Arganzón for Miranda de Ebro, heat builds under strong sun, with only a small chance of a brief shower. Through Baños de Sobrón and the Ebro canyon past Quintana Martín Galíndez and Trespaderne, low cloud can linger at times and produce light drizzle, but it often gives way to clear, hot afternoons. Beyond Quintana de Valdivielso to Pesquera de Ebro and Orbaneja del Castillo, the sun dominates again, and isolated storms can flick through late in the day. The region sees the hottest spell of the route, with afternoon highs commonly in the upper 20s to high 30s °C.

Cantabria

Into Cantabria around Polientes, cloud cover increases a little, and some mornings bring light drizzle before brightening. Through Villanueva de la Nía to Aguilar de Campoo, many days stay dry and warm with generous sunshine, though a brief shower can still appear. Afternoons generally range from the low-20s to low-30s °C.
