Greater Manchester & West Yorkshire

Starting in Edale, the trail is characterized by frequent showers and heavy rains, with temperatures showing a broad range from 5°C to 15°C. Moving through Crowden and Standedge, conditions remain overcast with several moderate to heavy rain showers, echoed by temperatures between 6°C and 15°C. The Calder Valley also experiences heavy rainfall but there are clearer spells with some sunshine.

Yorkshire Dales

In Ponden and Thornton-in-Craven, occasional sunny days break up the predominantly rainy weather, with highs up to 14°C. Malham and Horton in Ribblesdale face intermittent heavy rain, and at times, conditions include snow showers with temperatures dipping as low as -1°C.
