The weather is usually around 11°C in the city of Narbonne in December. It can go down to 6°C and it may rain sometimes.
While walking to Saint-André-de-Roquelongue and other nearby towns during your first week, the weather becomes slightly colder, around 10°C, and it often drops to between 2°C and 5°C. There may be more rain during this time.
As you walk further to Fanjeaux and Mirepoix, the weather can get up to 11°C and down to 2°C.
When you are walking up towards Pamiers and the peaks of Le Mas-d'Azil, it will get colder and might snow. Usually the temperature is going to stay between -3°C and 3°C, and get even colder when you go higher.
Towards the end of your walk, when you pass through Saint-Lizier, Castillon-en-Couserans, and other high places, the weather can become freezing. It can rain or snow here too, with different amounts each day.
Finally, as you get closer to end at Mauléon-Licharre, passing through Bruges, the weather becomes a little warmer, ranging from 4 to 13°C. Here, the weather is better, with more sunny days and less rain.
Whether it is sunny, rainy or cold, you will experience all different types of weather on your journey, especially in higher places.
