The Camino del Piamonte goes through beautiful parts of France, with sunshine, clouds, and sometimes rain - but usually there are more sunny days.
In the beginning, around Narbonne and Saint-André-de-Roquelongue, it's fairly hot - around 27 ºC (80 ºF). It doesn't rain much here. As you move towards Carcassone, Montréal, or Fanjeaux, it gets a bit cooler at night, but the weather is the same overall.
When you reach Mirepoix and Pamiers, expect it to rain more, even though the temperature stays warm. Here, the weather changes often – one day it might be raining, the next it could be sunny.
The weather changes a lot in Saint-Lizier and Castillon-en-Couserans. It's colder, especially at night. It also rains more here. On average, it's around 17 ºC (60 ºF) during the day and under 10 ºC (50 ºF) at night.
This colder, rainy weather continues in Germ-sur-l'Ossouet, Juzet-d'Izaut, and Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges. Temperatures drop to around 20 ºC (70 ºF) during the day and 9 ºC (50 ºF) at night.
In Bagnères-de-Bigorre and Lourdes, it rains a lot and it's often cloudy. However, the weather is not so cold.
Near the end, in Saint-Pé-de-Bigorre, Buzy, or Mauléon-Licharre, the weather gets a bit warmer. Sunny days return. But, it can still rain sometimes, so be ready for that.
By the last part, in Saint-Just-Ibarre and Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, it's normally quite warm, with average highs around 21-22 ºC (70+ ºF). Nights are mild, and there's less chance of rain. The weather is nice for hiking.
