Starting in Lisboa, the weather on the Camino Portugués is mostly nice, with daytime temperatures around 16°C and nighttime temperatures around 10°C. Most days are sunny, but it can also rain.
As you walk through Alpriate and Vila Franca de Xira, it can get a little colder, with temperatures around 15°C in the day and almost 10°C at night. The weather here can change between sunny and cloudy and sometimes it can rain hard.
When you reach Azambuja, Santarém, and Golegã, it gets colder, with average highs of 14°C and lows of between 5°C and 8°C. While many days are sunny, it can also rain and sometimes it’s cloudy.
The same sort of weather continues in Tomar, Alvaiázere, Alvorge, and Cernache, with temperatures around 14°C during the day and 5°C at night.
When you get to Coimbra, Sernadelo, and Águeda, expect occasional heavy rain. The usual temperature is around 14°C in daytime and 5°C at night.
In Albergaria-a-Velha, São João da Madeira, and Grijó, the weather is likely to be quite wet but the average temperatures stay the same, with highs of 13°C and lows of around 7°C.
Porto, Vilarinho, and Barcelos have variable weather conditions. Daytime temperatures are around 13°C, while at night it drops to around 5°C to 7°C.
Towards the end of your journey, in Rubiães, Tui, Redondela, Pontevedra, Caldas de Reis, Padrón, and at the end in Santiago de Compostela, be prepared for a mix of sun and rain. Overcast weather and heavy rain are more typical here. Daytime temperatures range from 12°C to 13°C but in Santiago de Compostela, they fall to around 10°C in the day and 5°C at night.
