The Senda Litoral goes through Portugal and Spain, and the weather changes a lot on the way. In June, you'll mostly have sunny or half-cloudy days.
In Porto, Portugal, where you start, it's usually sunny. The daily high temperature is about 24°C and the low is around 15°C. It might rain sometimes, but not a lot.
Next, you'll go through Vila Chã and Póvoa de Varzim. Temperatures here are between 15°C and 22°C. The weather is like Porto's, half sun, half cloud. It could rain a little in Póvoa de Varzim.
When you get to Marinhas, Viana do Castelo and Caminha, it might be a bit cooler. High temperatures are about 19°C-22°C and low temperatures can go down to 13°C. It can be sunnier, cloudier or rainier, and Caminha gets more rain with 5.7 mm each day.
In Porto Mougás and Saians, in the Galicia region of Spain, the weather can change a lot. It can be very rainy, with over 5 mm of rain each day. Temperatures are usually between 12°C and 19°C.
Towards the end of the hike, in towns like Redondela, Pontevedra, and Caldas de Reis, it often rains. The temperature doesn't change much, with highs near 21°C and lows about 12°C.
Finally, when you get to Santiago de Compostela, the days are often cloudy or half cloudy, and it can rain. The high temperature is around 21°C, and the low is about 11°C.
So, on this hiking path, there's all kinds of weather, from sunny days in Portugal to rainier weather in Spain. Be ready for both hot and cool weather.
