As you start your trip on the Senda Litoral, you'll enjoy the pleasant weather of Portugal. Despite being fall, the sun still shines brightly. As you travel from Porto to Vila Chã and Póvoa de Varzim, you'll see sun-soaked landscapes. The temperatures will be around 21°C to 24°C. Though, expect some occasional rain, because this area gets slight rainfall from time to time.
Moving to Marinhas and then up north to Caminha near Spanish border, the weather typically remains sunny and a bit cooler, around 21°C to 23°C. The rainfall increases a little in this area.
As you enter Galicia in Spain, the temperature will slightly decrease, and will be around 19°C to 23°C from Saians to Pontevedra. There are still many sunny days, but sometimes you might experience rain or overcast skies.
While going deeper into Galicia, from Caldas de Reis to Santiago de Compostela, the weather could change more frequently. You might feel colder as temperatures may fall to the teens. Although there are days with sunshine, expect more cloudy days and increased rain showers.
