The weather on the Camino Primitivo is usually warm and varies between rain and sun. The temperatures generally range from 12 to 29°C.
As you start in Oviedo and pass through Grado, Salas, and Tineo, you can expect some rain and few heavy showers. Still, there will also be many sunny days.
In places like Borres, Berducedo, and Grandas de Salime, it might rain often, and it could be a bit hotter than at the start of the journey, with temperatures up to 24°C.
As you reach A Fonsagrada and O Cádavo, you might see more clouds and less sun, with the temperature still around 24°C.
In Lugo and Ferreira, it might get hotter, up to 29°C. The weather might switch between sun, clouds, and some rain.
The final parts of your journey through Melide, Arzúa, and O Pedrouzo will the same mix of weather.
When you arrive in Santiago de Compostela, the weather will still be a mix of sun, clouds, and a chance of rain, with temperatures comfortable between 13 and 24°C.
On the whole Camino Primitivo trip, the rain is usually not too heavy. But, it is always good to be ready for any sudden weather changes.
