Bavaria

From Augsburg through Prittriching to Landsberg am Lech, May brings frequent light rain and drizzle under overcast skies, with occasional brighter breaks. Highs are generally 10-20°C, with a warmer spike near 24°C and cool mornings 3-11°C. Daily precipitation ranges from 0 to about 28 mm.

Approaching the Alps via Oberammergau, Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Mittenwald, light to moderate rain alternates with mainly clear periods. Highs range 9-22°C, nights -2-11°C, and occasional moderate snowfall appears on the coldest days. Individual days deliver heavier precipitation near 30 mm before skies brighten again.

Tyrol

South Tyrol

South of the pass through Vipiteno toward Bressanone, unsettled weather brings light rain or drizzle and periodic snowfall in the northern valleys. Highs vary 5-21°C, lows -1-12°C, with partly cloudy interludes. Rainfall fluctuates from 0 to about 28 mm on wetter days.

Continuing via Chiusa and Collalbo to Bolzano, skies alternate between overcast and bright intervals. Warm afternoons reach 22-26°C with nights 6-16°C, and showers or heavy drizzle occur at times. Daily amounts can climb to about 31 mm before drier stretches return.

Through Termeno, Salorno and Trento to Levico Terme and Borgo Valsugana, valley floors warm to 24-29°C with mornings 8-17°C. Repeated light and moderate rain arrive in bursts, and some systems deliver heavy totals near 52 mm. Cloudy sequences give way to mainly clear periods between showers.

Veneto

From Cismon del Grappa to Bassano del Grappa, conditions turn warmer with highs 17-32°C and lows 7-16°C. Skies swing from partly cloudy to overcast, with light to moderate rain; heavy precipitation can peak near 48 mm before easing.

Across the plains from Piazzola sul Brenta to Padua, overcast stretches alternate with sunny breaks and occasional light rain or drizzle. Highs reach 21-30°C with nights 11-19°C. Isolated heavy showers can still bring around 20 mm, though many days stay dry or only briefly damp.
