From Padua through Monselice and Rovigo to Polesella, the month opens hot and variable, with highs 31–40°C and nights 17–26°C under mainly clear to overcast skies. Intermittent light drizzle and moderate rain break the heat on a few days, with local downpours around 21 mm in Rovigo. Late in the stretch, a brief stormy spell in Polesella yields about 17 mm before sunshine returns.

Emilia-Romagna

Crossing Ferrara and Traghetto, heat peaks near 40°C with long sunny spells, but abrupt showers deliver 24–27 mm on the wettest days. Through Anita to the coast at Casal Borsetti and Ravenna, afternoons ease to 27–34°C under mixed cloud with occasional light rain. Turning inland at Forli, short showers around 7 mm punctuate brighter days. Climbing into Cusercoli, Santa Sofia, and Bagno di Romagna, it cools to 20–33°C, with frequent afternoon showers and a heavy burst near 18 mm.

Tuscany

Entering Lubriano and Montefiascone, warm to hot days of 26–32°C alternate with showery spells, including local totals near 9 mm. Through Viterbo, Vetralla, and Sutri, temperatures range 25–37°C, with bright intervals and thunderstorms that locally bring 10–12 mm. In Campagnano di Roma and La Storta, conditions swing from sunny to stormy, with intense downpours around 21–26 mm on the wettest days. Finishing in Rome, it stays warm at 27–35°C under changeable cloud, with occasional heavy rain near 23 mm and long sunny breaks.
