Usually, the temperatures on Camino Sanabrés stay around 10 degrees Celsius in January. It can sometimes get as cold as 0 degrees, especially in Puebla de Sanabria and Lubián. The hottest it typically gets is 10 to 12 degrees.
It's often cloudy, especially at the start and end of the trip, but you'll also have sunny days. These are most common in the middle part of the route, from Mombuey to Laza.
It often rains on this journey, and the rain can be light or heavy. Some places, like Mombuey, Ourense, and Silleda, are more likely to have heavy rain. Near the end of the trip, in Galicia and Santiago de Compostela, the rain gets heavier.
