Weather forecast for the Shikoku Henro in February

The Shikoku Henro is a pilgrimage route on the island of Shikoku in Japan, that passes through different areas with slightly varied weather.

The Tokushima and Kagawa Prefectures usually have mild temperatures. Highs are around 10-14°C, and lows are between 4-6°C. It rains a little but often, with sometimes moderate to heavy rain. You will mostly see cloudy skies, but there are some sunny days too.

As you go through Ehime and Kochi, temperatures get a bit warmer. Highs are 11-14°C, and lows are 5-8°C. There are more sunny days here than in Tokushima and Kagawa, but also more rain, including heavy rain at times. The overall climate is more damp.

In general, the pilgrimage route has mild winter temperatures. The skies vary from cloudy to partly cloudy with some sunshine. Rain is common but changes in strength, becoming more intense in Ehime and Kochi.
