Central Hungary

Starting in Budapest, the weather varies with moderate temperatures between 13°C and 25°C. Rain is intermittent, with some days experiencing significant rain showers of up to 19 mm. Although occasional sunny intervals break through, cloud cover is common as the trail passes through Ófalu and Tordas, where temperatures remain steady.

Continuing to Nadap and Székesfehérvár, sunshine persists despite occasional heavy rain, especially in Székesfehérvár where temperatures peak at 23°C. Tác faces a similar pattern of sunny spells and intermittent showers. As the trail reaches Nagylók and Mezőfalva, rain showers ease off, making way for clearer skies and temperatures of up to 27°C.

Southern Great Plain

In the Southern Great Plain, the trail moves through Dunaföldvár and Dunapataj, where the weather remains variable, with a mix of sunshine and rain. Temperatures hover between 13°C and 24°C, punctuated by bouts of heavy rain particularly near Kalocsa and Bóni-fok.

Towards Pörböly and Dunaszekcsö, the rain becomes less frequent, while occasional cloudy days persist. As the trail approaches Mohács and Hercegszántó, the area experiences some of the heaviest rainfall, but sunshine eventually returns to stabilize the weather.

Vojvodina

Crossing into Vojvodina, walkers encounter diverse weather. Bezdan sees mild temperatures and sporadic rainfall. As the trail progresses to Sombor and Apatin, the weather clears with a blend of sunshine and light rain, keeping temperatures moderate.

Up towards Bogojevo, Bač, and Bačka Palanka, sunny days return, interrupted by occasional rain showers. Entering Neštin and Fruška Gora Andrevlje, sunny conditions prevail despite brief periods of rain, reminding walkers of the mild October climate synonymous with the region.

Finally, upon reaching the urban center of Novi Sad and progressing to Belgrade, the weather remains consistently mild with sunny spells, occasional showers, and peak temperatures rising to a comfortable 26°C. This pattern of mixed weather provides a scenic backdrop as the trail concludes in the Serbian capital.

This overview is for an early October start, walking the standard stages.
But, I'll be happy to make one specifically for this forecast.
