At Cape Reinga, the weather starts with overcast skies and intermittent moderate to heavy rain showers, with temperatures ranging from 16°C to 23°C. As you move to Te Paki, you experience cloudy days interspersed with patchy rain, accompanied by highs of up to 23°C and lows around 13°C. In Te Kao, you see a mix of sunny and overcast days, and occasional moderate rain, with highs peaking at 24°C.

Down in Pukenui and Waipapakauri, there are cloudy spells and significant rain showers, especially notable with 33.1 mm of rain recorded in one day. As you reach Ahipara and Kaitaia, a similar pattern continues with less frequent rain and increased sunny breaks, offering some respite.
