Starting at Cape Reinga, the weather is predominantly sunny with occasional moderate to heavy rain showers, with temperatures reaching up to 27°C. As the trail progresses through Te Paki and Te Kao, part cloudiness intertwines with patchy rain, and temperatures consistently reach the mid-20s.
In Pukenui and Waipapakauri, the weather sees frequent changes, ranging from sunny spells to heavy downpours. Notably, Pukenui experiences heavy showers with up to 33 mm of rain. Moving towards Ahipara and Kaitaia, moderate rain interspersed with sunny periods is common, while temperatures remain in the low to mid-20s.
Continuing towards regions like Mangamuka and Kerikeri, the weather fluctuates with occasional moderate rain at times and patchy conditions, with temperatures peaking at 28°C.
