Marlborough

Starting at Picton, the weather includes temperatures ranging between 6°C and 15°C, with patchy rain and occasional sunny breaks. Moving to Schoolhouse Bay Campsite, conditions remain similar with moderate rain at times and highs up to 15°C. As hikers progress to Endeavour Inlet and Camp Bay Campsite, the experience includes heavy rain and some sunny intervals, maintaining highs around 16°C. A mix of overcast and sunny days persists at Bay Of Many Coves Campsite, with rainfall decreasing towards Torea Bay and Onahau Bay, where highs reach 14°C.

In Te Māhia, expect moderate rain showers with lows reaching 1°C, while Anakiwa sees a fair amount of sun with occasional rain showers. Havelock, Canvastown, and Pelorus Bridge encounter partly cloudy days with heavy rain decreasing, but occasional showers still occur.

Tasman

For the Tasman route, starting from Starveall Hut, be prepared for fluctuating conditions.
