Île-de-France

As you start the journey in Paris, you encounter overcast days interspersed with patchy rain and occasional sun. Highs range from 4°C to 14°C and lows dip as low as -4°C. Moving through La Ville-du-Bois and Étampes, rain remains possible, but there are breaks with partly cloudy skies, marking a blend of wet and dry spells.

Centre-Val de Loire

Angerville starts with moderate to heavy showers, gradually easing into overcast and sunny conditions. Orléans and Beaugency experience moderate rain followed by sunny intervals. Blois and Amboise see periods of heavier rain, but sunshine breaks emerge, lifting spirits. As hikers proceed to Tours and Sorigny, cloudier weather with intermittent rain spells introduces brief sunny periods, offering a mix of wet and clear days.

Nouvelle-Aquitaine

In Nouvelle-Aquitaine, from Châtellerault through Poitiers to Lusignan, the trail sees a transition to sunnier conditions, with occasional rain showers. Chenay and Melle face more persistent rain, but sunny intervals provide welcome relief. Beyond Saint-Jean-d'Angély and Saint-Felix, rain becomes more frequent, but periods of dryness and sun are still experienced. Entering Bordeaux and further into Le Barp, sun is more frequent with moderate rain. Finally, from Labouheyre to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, despite sporadic heavy showers, the sun breaks through, promising brighter weather at the journey's end.
