When you walk along the Camino Vasco del Interior, get ready for different weather types. Sometimes it's sunny, and sometimes it rains. The weather is usually mild, with high temperatures around 24°C and lower ones from 13°C to 16°C.
On the journey from Irun through Hernani, Tolosa, Beasain, and Zegama in the Basque Country, expect some clouds and occasional rain showers. But don't worry, there's usually a good amount of sunshine too!
As you move into the Alava region, towards Salvatierra and Vitoria, you'll likely see less rain and more sun. Here, rain levels decrease, averaging between 0.6 to 1.6 mm.
When you get to Castile and Leon, places like La Puebla de Arganzón, Miranda de Ebro, Pancorbo, Briviesca, Monasterio de Rodilla, and Burgos, expect it to be drier. There could be heavy rain, but you'll typically see more sunny days. Average rain levels range from 0.2 to 2.4 mm.
