The Camino de Vézelay walk starts in the north of France in Vézelay, ending in Ostabat in the south.
The walk begins in Burgundy, where the weather can be a mix of sun and rain. Daytime temperatures are usually around 27°C. Skies are often partly cloudy with some moderate to heavy rain showers from time to time.
In Centre-Val de Loire, the next region, the weather is similar but a bit cooler and rain is common.
In the beautiful region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, rain showers become less frequent. The weather is usually sunny and warm, with daytime temperatures reaching up to 30°C. There is some rain, but most days are sunny.
The final part of the route is in Occitanie. Here, the weather can be unpredictable with chances for heavy rain. Yet, temperatures stay pretty consistent, around 24°C during the day. Despite the chance of rain, there are still many sunny days.
In short, during your walk through the Camino de Vézelay, you'll likely have warm weather, a lot of sun, and occasional rain.
